摘要

The use of time-frequency distributions of the Cohen class for detection and localization of nonstationary components of compound signals is considered. The paper contains a classification of distributions of this class used with nonstationary signals containing a diversity of information components. The Cohen class transforms are compared with short-term Fourier transforms. As an example of practical application to compound signals, the selection of the optimal transform kernel is estimated.
