摘要

Accuracy analysis is performed for measurements of a target's angle of site with noise in the receiving channel. As an example the authors have taken a phase-phase monopulse direction finder incorporated into a surveillance radar station tracking a "passing" target. Reliable measurements are possible in the event of a wide nonscanning radiation pattern of the antenna in the angle-of-site plane, when the signal-to-noise ratio only slightly exceeds the level required for target detection.
