摘要

The isothermal decay of peak 5 in LiF:Mg,Ti (TLD-100) at 165degC, 175degC, and 195degC, following irradiation by both alpha particles and ~(90)Sr/~(90)Y beta rays has been investigated. Post-irradiation annealing of 165degC for 15 min was applied to depopulate peaks 2-4, thereby allowing the study of the isothermal decay of peak 5 cleansed of low temperature components. The shape of the isothermal decays are both dose and temperature dependent, indicative of non-first-order kinetics, and are, as well, significantly different for both the types of irradiation. The decays are analysed in the framework of the general order kinetics model (GOK), the mixed order kinetics model (MOK) and a mixed geminate recombination/conduction band approach (GR/CB).
