ICRP PUBLICATION 110

摘要

Publication 110 is a joint report by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and the International Commission on Radiation Units (ICRU) led by ICRP, and presents a summary of the methods and procedures used to create the official computational anthropomorphic models representing the Reference Male and Reference Female defined in ICRP Publications 89 and 103. Both phantoms are digital three-dimensional representations of the human anatomy based on individual-specific medical tomographic image data, and have been adopted by ICRP and ICRU for the calculation of organ dose or effective dose coefficients for external and internal radiation sources needed for purposes of radiation protection. Although, unlike other ICRP publications, Publication 110 was not subjected to public consultation prior to its publication due to the numerical nature of the phantoms, the publication is no less comprehensive and is already finding a high reference value in the upcoming publications.
