摘要

The Tec Doc 'Implications for Occupational Radiation Protection of the New Dose Limit for the Lens of the Eye' was issued in 2013 in order to provide guidance in relation to the new dose limit for the lens of the eye for the occupational exposure in planned exposure situations that was reduced from 150 to 20mSv per year, averaged over-defined periods of 5 years, with no annual dose in a single year exceeding 50mSv. This reduction in the dose limit has been recommended by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP).
