ALA/DRS AS THE ALTERNATIVE TO ALA/EPR DOSIMETRY

摘要

L-α alanine dosimeter with diffuse reflectance spectrophotometric (DRS) determination of the free radical CH_3-CH-COO~- is described. With many features similar to the ALA/EPR dosimetry (the same free radical is measured) it shows also some advantages, like independence of the orientation of crystals of alanine. It is working well in thin layers. Dosimeter is showing precise responses to congested isodose curves, as in EB processing.
