The 81st Annual General Meeting of the RSGB was held in Bristol on 19 April. A very satisfactory number of RSGB members attended the AGM and business of the meeting was transacted swiftly. Formal Minutes of the proceedings will be published in due course. On completion of the formal meeting, a number of Awards were announced and presented. 1. Life Vice President status was bestowed on Pat Hawker MBE, G3VA in recognition of his outstanding contribution to amateur radio through the pages of 'Technical Topics'.
