'I need an Edge!'

Ten years ago a magazine article described all the full size aerobatic aircraft of the day, the Extra 300, Staudacher, Cap 232, Pitts, Sukhoi, Giles, Rihn and Edge 540. Out of all those it was the Edge that caught my eye, and I have wanted one ever since. I've sketched it out as an O/D, and nearly been tempted by several ARTF versions before I examined this big one in my local model shop, listed at £200. When the same shop had it on offer for £175 (Shop around street prices can vary) at the Scottish Model Airshow I could put the inevitable off no longer!
