Following on from my last article when I talked about my visit to Jet Power in Germany, I thought I should mention some of the United Kingdom fly-ins held around the country. Firstly, there is the Bi-Annual Charmouth Fly-In. This, for many, marks both the start and the end of the flying season here in the United Kingdom. The Charmouth Fly-In is held close to the seaside town of Lyme Regis in Dorset. Fortunately the forecast for the 2013 spring event was looking good, with the Saturday expected to be the best day. So, as I set off for Charmouth on the Friday afternoon, I had high expectations for a great weekend's flying.
