GAM 2012

The German Aero Masters, or GAM for short, is Europe's largest and most prestigious scale aerobatics competition. Pilots are invited to compete from all over the world and in the contest's ten year history, world class aerobatic pilots such as Roland Matt, Bemd Beschorner, Sebastian Silvestri, Mark Leseberg and Gernot Bruckmann to name a just few have all taken part. The 2012 contest took place near Lahr in Southern Germany from 14th-16th September at the purpose-built Model Flying Club Lahr. The format was very similar to IMAC, as we know it in the UK. Known, Unknown and Freestyle were flown and each element was added together to form the overall results. Known counted for 35%, Unknown 50% and Freestyle 15%.
