National award for one of Ennstone's Polish quarries

One of Ennstone's sand and gravel quarries in north-west Poland has won a prestigious national award for being an excellent employer at a ceremony held in Warsaw. Dobra Quarry, which has recently seen a major investment in new crushing and screening plant and a new conveyor system, is one of four quarries operated by Ennstone's Polish subsidiary, Ennbeton. The site was singled out as an example of an excellent employer in the industry by the Polish National Labour Inspection Office, which described the award as 'an expression of honour for the company's actions in the area of health and safety at work and for the improvement of working conditions for employees'.
