Slate sale Alfred McAlpine plc have completed the sale of their Welsh Slate business, comprising four quarries in North Wales at Penrhyn, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Cwt-y-Bugail and Pen-yr-Orsedd, ahead of their takeover by Carillion.The slate business has been acquired by Rigcycle Ltd, a company controlled by the Northern Ireland-based Lagan Group, for £31 million in cash.
