Tarmac take CARE of the Three Peaks

On 12 September, Steve Jones, one of the more active members of the Institute, undertook the Three Peaks Challenge as part of a team called 'Not Quite Phileas Fogg', to help raise funds for CARE International, a global humanitarian organization that works with over 45 million disadvantaged people in 70 of the world's poorest countries.rnThe Three Peaks event involves successive ascents of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in under 24h, and joining Steve on this epic challenge were Mark Joel, Mark Wood, Mark Swan, Gavin Silcock, Tim Seabrook and Kerry Pinkerton from Tarmac Quarry Material's South East Region.
