Collins Earthworks stay loyal to Volvo machines

Nottinghamshire-based Collins Earthworks Ltd have taken delivery of nine Volvo excavators and an SD200 soil compactor as they increase their fleet of predominantly Volvo-badged equipment to meet an increase in demand for muck-shifting contracts nationwide. The mix of Volvo excavators includes six 22-tonne EC220D's, two 25-tonne EC250D's and a refurbished 70-tonne EC700B, and all have been deployed on a variety of large muck-shifting projects around the country. 'The reason we've opted for Volvo once again is simple,' said managing director David Collins. 'It's all down to the back-up and the quality of service we receive from Volvo, irrespective of where in the country we are working.
