Plans for Dean Quarry on the Lizard peninsula to provide up to 3 million tonnes of rock armour for the Swansea Bay 'tidal lagoon' project have moved a step closer after the local planning committee granted permission for Shire Oak Quarries to construct various buildings at the site.
