DTL win major contract with Hanson

DTL (Develop Training Ltd] -specialists in construction industry training with five training centres in England and Scotland - have announced a major new contract to provide electrical equipment training for more than 1,000 employees of Hanson UK. DTL were approached to run the training through their partnership with Mentor Training - providers of training in workplace transport, materials handling and mobile plant equipment -who have an existing relationship with Hanson UK. The new contract comes after Hanson identified the need to enhance safe working practices in the repair, maintenance and management of high- and low-voltage electrical equipment. Around 1,100 people will take part in the training from DTL, who will provide bespoke courses both at Hanson sites and at their own sites in Bolton, Derby, Linlithgow, Swindon and York.
