Non-contact sensors for bulk solids monitoring

The detection of conveyor belt or chute blockage risk from the build-up of solids has been simplified with the introduction of MassaSonic FlatPack sensors. Designed with a wide system beam angle, these sensors are said to reliably and accurately cope with repose angle conditions where other sensors fail. With a ranging capability from 100mm to 4m, FlatPack sensors are also suitable for mounting in areas of constrained headroom where material may get close to the sensor face.
