Short communication process capability analysis in the presence of autocorrelation

摘要

process capability analysis when observations are autocorrelated is addressed using time series modelling and regression analysis. Through the use of a numerical example, it is shown that the variance estimate obtained from the original data is no longer an appropriate estimate to be considered for conducting process capability analyses.
