Russia is revising its strategy for the development of its forest products industry until 2030

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is working on a new strategy for the development of the country's forest products sector until 2030. The new growth plan is to show which products companies have to manufacture in the future in order to operate competitively and cost-efficiently. Against this background, the strategy has been revised and drafted in cooperation with companies and associations of the wood and paper sectors; moreover, representatives of the business and scientific communities were members of the working groups.
