Battling Mother Nature Smartly

Major storm events-many classified as "100-year storms"-swept across the nation last year, causing millions of dollars in damage. One city in particular was affected in a way its residents will never forget. Cuyahoga Falls was one of the most severely impacted towns in Northeast Ohio, and was declared a disaster area by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The torrential storms caused two deaths in a neighboring town and severe home damage throughout the region.
