California bill would dedicate billions to water infrastructure

In November, California voters will vote on the Safe, Clean, and Reliable Drinking Water Supply Act of 2010. Part of a larger historic water funding package, the bill would allocate $11.14 billion to infrastructure improvements and improve water supply reliability. The general obligation bond also would fund drought relief, statewide water system operational improvements, watershed protection, and water conservation projects.
