For more than half a century, the American Public Works Association (APWA) has named the Top Ten Public Works Leaders of the Year based on honorees' career-long dedication and service, professionalism, and expertise in public works infrastructure. These men and women have demonstrated excellence in advancing public works services and technologies in the communities they serve. We asked this year's Top 10 Leaders to describe their favorite technologies. Although answers varied, most preferred tools that can keep them connected to the office, colleagues, and customers.
