Increased support for sustainable waste services in Melbourne

Councils in metropolitan Melbourne will be able to improve their waste management and resource recovery through more than $5 million in Victorian Government funding. The $5.5 Million Metropolitan Local Government Waste and Resource Recovery Fund has been sourced from the state's landfill levy and will support implementation of the Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Strategic Plan.
