We are constantly organizing in purposeful ways to accomplish daily objectives: Pushing our cart through the grocery store, following the norms of linger time in front of various food sections, taking a number at the deli counter, and waiting in line at the "15 items or less" checkout; sorting our recyclables, shoving leaves into tall paper bags, and hauling garbage cans to the curb; maneuvering our cars through the city streets to work, school, and entertainment, stopping at the street lights, watching our speed, turning right on red when permitted, and parking as assigned.
