Carrying the camera in a safe way is important. One way is to use a genuine camera bag with its included protective padding. When camera equipment is in an ordinary purse or tote bag, each piece can be wrapped in a bubble wrap, thick fabric, or its own protective case.rnWhen the photographer wants the camera to be ready to take a picture, the camera is safest when hung around the photographer's neck. This is safer than holding the camera in one's hand where it is more easily dropped. When a small camera is in a pocket, it can be damaged by being bumped or falling out.
