Sellar and Universal Design unveil Paddington Square 'occupier club'

Shard developer Sellar and architecture and interiors practice Universal Design Studio have unveiled plans for a 15,000 sq ft "occupier club" at Sellar's Paddington Square scheme. The Exchange (pictured) will take one level of the 18-storey Renzo Piano designed scheme, which is due for completion in spring 2022, and replace what would traditionally be a lobby with an occupier club, terrace and workspace. Sellar chief executive James Sellar told Property Week. "With The Exchange, we had an opportunity to throw out the rule book and design a space that truly reflects what people want from an office today. In a post-pandemic world, where people can choose to work from home permanently, our intention is to harmoniously bridge traditional office requirements with home-working benefits that improve lifestyle and support wellbeing."
