WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff and Turner & Townsend have been drafted in by developer Sellar to help work up plans for a major mixed-use scheme in Paddington, west London. The consultants join architect Renzo Piano on the scheme at 31 London Street, which includes a cylindrical 65-storey tower (inset). Sellar worked with the trio on the development of the Shard skyscraper at London Bridge. Sellar declined to confirm the exact roles being performed by Turner & Townsend (T&T) and WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff (WSP PB). However, on the Shard, T&T was project manager while WSP PB was structural engineer.
