Tesco takes back two sheds to meet demand

Tesco has retaken possession of two warehouses totalling almost 1m sq ft to deal with a surge in demand caused by the Covid-19 lockdown. The supermarket chain had been marketing for rent Tectonic 620, a vacant 620,000 sq ft warehouse in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, that it owns. However, it decided to take the property off the market and use it for storage to meet the recent spike in demand caused by the lockdown. Located on a 60-acre site, the Fenny Lock warehouse has 80 loading bays and parking for more than 300 HGVs.
