UK property market one of only a few to shrink in 2018

The UK was one of only a handful of leading property markets to shrink during 2018, according to new figures. The MSG Global Annual Property index found that the size of the UK market in 2018 was $714bn (£570bn), $6.2bn down on 2017. Among the top 10 countries, Australia and Canada were the only other nations to see the size of their markets shrink.
