London-based student accommodation developer Scape has acquired its first US site as part of a $4bn (£3bn) drive to develop 20,000 beds in the country over the next five years.Initial development on the central Boston site will provide around 620 beds. Scape, which has developed six properties in south-east England, is also in the process of acquiring further Boston sites to accommodate an additional 2,000 beds.
