Last week, national audit and tax advisory firm Crowe Clark Whitehill published its annual Property and Construction Outlook Report examining the industry's attitudes towards a range of macro-economic factors as well as specific taxation policies. While most people who responded to the survey reported that they were modestly confident in the prospects for their own businesses, their wider outlook was gloomy in the extreme.
