SDL Graham Penny raises bumper total at Leicester auction

SDL Auctions Graham Penny raised £3.84m at its latest Leicester sale - the highest amount it has ever recorded in the city. Twenty-five of the 27 lots on offer at the 10 August auction were sold, reflecting a success rate of 93%. The result far outstripped last August's auction, which raised £2.02m from 21 lots and had a success rate of 77%. This was aided by the fact that several lots exceeded their guide prices at the sale.
