Election and slower market dent Auction House result

This week's general election and a slowing market have contributed to the lowest success rate recorded at Auction House London. The 61% rate posted on 2 June was the lowest since the launch of the London branch in 2011. However, as Property Week went to press, Auction House said three post-auction deals had been signed, boosting the success rate to 70%. Just 64 lots of the 106 offered sold on the day - 46 within the room and 15 before the auction.
