It took eight years of blood, sweat and delays -not to mention a recession - before Tony Baker of the Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership was able to succeed where others had failed and deliver a new shopping destination for Hinckley. The new Crescent shopping centre has been a long time corning but it has helped to transform the Leicestershire town by luring day-trippers from neighbouring Nuneaton and helping spark the evening economy to life.
