Football, and the people who enjoy playing it, are familiar turf for Rupert Campbell. The chief executive officer of five-a-side operator Lucozade Powerleague moved to the company last year from Adidas, where he was retail director for northern Europe. From football kits to football pitches, Campbell knows the beautiful game in all its forms. Under his leadership, Powerleague recently revealed ambitious plans to acquire 13 new UK sites in the next three years following a £40m investment from owner Patron Capital. What's more, Campbell has vowed to transfer his experience of customer service at Adidas to his new team. So how is Campbell finding the transition from retail to leisure?
