Midlands office block is £2.5m star lot in Allsop catalogue

A chunky £2.5m office building in the West Midlands is set to hit the rostrum at Allsop's 6 July commercial auction. Society House in West Bromwich is the highest-value property in the July catalogue, which has just been released and comprises 174 lots with a total annual rental income of £7.2m. The vacant 44,263 sq ft block (pictured) was formerly the headquarters of West Bromwich Building Society. It is one of 10 offices to be offered at the sale, which will also bring nine industrial properties and five banks to market.
