Urban Plan targets the next generation of property professionals

Last year, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) UK ran a series of pilot workshops with London sixth-formers in order to test its Urban Plan programme. By asking students to produce a plan for a fictitious regeneration site, the purpose of the programme was to introduce students to the various professions that make up the built environment. Now Urban Plan is back, with a refined structure and a small army of industry volunteers - and it is being rolled out across the UK. Amanda Keane, ULI Charitable Trust project director, talks about how the programme has evolved and the impact it is having on young people.
