Returns from unlisted real estate funds slowed to 2.9% in the third quarter, the AREF/IPD UK Quarterly Property Fund Index has revealed. The returns in the three months to the end of September compared with 3.3% in the second quarter and 2.5% in the first quarter. "The focus for performance is now shifting to rental growth in stronger UK markets, with rental appreciation overtaking yield compression as the key driver of performance in 2015," said Colm Lauder, senior associate at MSCI.
