Prologis is to dispose of its €3.8bn European investment property portfolio. The global logistics property group aims to sell assets into existing and new funds that it manages or will manage. Over the next 12 to 18 months, Prologis plans to raise equity for new funds that will buy around €2.8bn of the properties that were formerly owned by the Prologis European Properties (PEPR) fund. The remaining €lbn of assets are intended to be sold to existing vehicles, which are already set up as exit routes for Prologis's completed and let developments, such as the €3bn Prologis European Property Fund II (PEPFII), the €lbn Target European Logistics Fund and a €470m joint venture with Allianz Real Estate.
