Tribunals are supposed to be a fast, cheap and simple way to resolve disputes. The Leasehold Valuation Tribunal is anything but - however, this could be change. The Leasehold Valuation Tribunal is part of the Residential Property Tribunal Service. It hears disputes between landlords, tenants and leaseholders over service charges, breaches of covenant, lease variations and the appointment of managing agents (box, right).
