Members of the Young Surveyors networking group took the opportunity to grill two industry leaders on how to get ahead in the property business at a breakfast Q+A session last week.Richard Batten, UK executive chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle, and Martin Jepson, senior vice-president of development and investment at Brookfield, took questions on a variety of topics, such as how to deal with working relationships, the UK high street, the return of debt markets and Batten's well-known passion for triathlons.
