Around 2m sq ft of offices in London's West End have been given planning consent for conversion to homes, as developers continue to take advantage of the area's soaring residential market. Data from H2SO reveals almost 3.2m sq ft of office space has been converted to homes since 2001, and a further 1.3m sq ft has been converted to other uses, such as hotel and leisure.
