Christian Candy's CPC Group has won a symbolic victory in its Chelsea Barracks High Court case against Qatari Diar, but was denied any immediate financial compensation.Justice Vos found that Qatari Diar had breached an agreement with CPC when it withdrew the Chelsea Barracks planning application because of concerns raised by the Prince of Wales (see below). However, after a two-week hearing, he rejected claims this required Qatari Diar to make an early, immediate payment of £68.5m to CPC.
