Nationwide Building Society has appointed receivers on two regional shopping centres owned by Stockland, following the developer's 2007 purchase of Scottish property company Halladale.Fairacre Properties has been appointed as Law of Property Act (LPA) receivers on Stockland's Queen's Square Shopping Centre in West Bromwich and its Queen Street Shopping Centre in Darlington, County Durham.Nationwide, which is the lender on both the centres, said: "We can confirm that an LPA receiver has been appointed and the LPA receiver is an agent of the borrower [Stockland].
