F&C Reit Asset Management has exchanged contracts with the National Farmers Union to buy three out-of-town office properties.F&C Reit paid a total of £24.5m, reflecting an initial yield of more than 10%. The properties are 52,000 sq ft at Capability Green Business Park in Luton, 37,000 sq ft let to Timberland Europe Services in Slough and 26,000 sq ft at Chalfont Park in Cerrards Cross.The purchase brings F&C Reit's transaction total since its formation in September 2008 to around £lbn: 85% purchases and 15% sales.
