Diversity is a duty for one- dimensional property industry

Hardeep Sandher's "Identity charade" article (below) last week on diversity - or, more accurately, the lack of it - in the property industry, was salutary reading. It is sad, but true, that even acknowledgement that the issue exists is a step forward. The fact that property professionals are mainly white, public school-educated blokes needs to be addressed. Although the desired end result is clear, solutions are hard to conceive and likely to be slow.
