GE Capital promotes finance man

CE Capital has appointed the head of its US consumer retail finance business as the new head of its commercial real estate division. Mark Begor, a 31-year-old CE veteran, is replacing Ron Pressman as president and CEO of GE Capital Real Estate. Pressman, who has headed the real estate division since 2007, is leaving "to pursue interests outside the company", CE said. In his new role, Begor will oversee real estate and continue to have responsibility for the restructuring operations businesses.
