Derby council answers call for city centre office space

Derby City Council has chosen developers Bolsterstone and Lowbridge to be among the beneficiaries of its ￡10m regeneration fund. It is understood that Bolsterstone's 50,000 sq ft Central Square and Lowbridge's 100,000 sq ft Friar Gate Square office schemes will be part-funded by the initiative. The council will take equity stakes in the two developments, which will be started quickly, as the council wants to create new office space in the city centre - less than 80,000 sq ft of new office space is available in the city.
