Townsend sale to Aon completes

Colony NorthStar has completed the sale of The Townsend Group to Aon for $475m (£350m). The sale of the real estate-focused consultancy, which advises on about $175bn of investments, was prompted by the potential conflicts of interest between Townsend's role as an adviser to pension funds and Colony NorthStar's investment management business.
