CBRE chief executive Robert Sulentic has seen his pay package overtake that of JLL chief executive Christian Ulbrich. Sulentic's total remuneration increased 20% to $10.3m (£7.9m) for 2018 while Ulbrich's annual pay increased 3.5% to $9.5m, according to stock exchange filings. Sulentic's pay for 2017 would have been higher had he not declined to accept a $5.6m one-off equity award offered to the group's senior executives that locked them into six years at the company to receive the full benefits. He rejected the offer to avoid a conflict of interest as he was involved in designing the compensation scheme.
